Privacy policy

Dayframe is a personal planning app created by Omar Hosny. Questions or privacy requests: contact@omarhosny.work.gd.
Your tasks and notes
Tasks, categories, planned dates, priorities, optional estimates, notes, completed focus-session dates and durations, and timer state are stored in your browser’s local storage. Dayframe’s application code does not send this content to Omar or an application database. It does not request your name, address, phone number, location, payment details or contacts.
Local storage is used to provide the save-and-resume features you choose to use. Task and note forms save locally; they are not contact forms, mailing-list sign-ups or marketing consent. Keep passwords, financial details, health information and other sensitive information out of this workspace.
Hosting and sign-in
The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting and access-control services necessarily receive connection information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser information. Where access is restricted, the host handles sign-in. Their processing, logs, retention and essential authentication storage are separate from Dayframe’s local task data. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for its practices. Dayframe does not promise that the hosting service collects no technical data.
No advertising or analytics added by Dayframe
The application has no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded third-party widgets, external fonts or marketing forms. Policy and email links contact their destination only when you open them. Dayframe does not sell your task or note content.
Your controls and retention
Edit or delete individual tasks in the workspace. Use “Clear local data” to remove Dayframe’s tasks, notes, timer and focus history from this browser, or remove the site’s data through browser settings. Local data remains until you remove it or the browser clears it. Clearing browser storage, private browsing, switching browsers or changing devices can remove or separate your data.
“Export backup” downloads an unencrypted JSON file to your device. “Restore backup” reads a file locally and replaces the workspace only after confirmation. Neither uploads the file. Keep backups private and delete downloaded copies separately. There is no automatic cross-device sync or recovery service. Omar cannot read or erase your browser’s local content remotely.
Contact and requests
If you email the contact address, your email provider and the receiving email services process the message. Send only the information needed for your question; do not send your task backup or sensitive details unless necessary. You can ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent by email at the same contact address. Do not use this email to request access to someone else’s information.
Changes
This page will be updated if the application’s data handling changes. Its date identifies the current notice.
